I will dominate 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul met for the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
