WThis is a simplified version of a cocktail found on the seasonal cocktail list. This is a party-sized prepared mix that is bursting with flavours of the holiday season, making it perfect for hosting a holiday party. Reserve the remaining citrus syrup for breakfast cocktails, puddings, or for another batch of the drink.

Yields 10 people
To make the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Drink (yields 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (see above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Method
For the Cordial: Put every ingredients into a saucepan, heat until it reaches a light boil, agitating to dissolve. Next, remove from the heat and leave to cool entirely. Transfer into an sterilised bottle, seal and store in the refrigerator, it can be stored for up to one month.
For the Batch Mix: Mix the specified liquids into one big jug, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then strain preferably using muslin, so it's fully clarified.
For serving: Measure 85ml from the premix to a mixing glass packed with ice, and agitate gently for one minute to cool it down. Filter into an frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, top with some cranberries and finish with a light spray with the mandarin essence over the top.
